OggZCap is a Desktop-recording, Live-Streaming utility for Mac/OSX. It allows to select an area on the desktop to capture and generates a OGG/Theora video stream which is directly sent to the collider (icecast server).

The user-interface of OggZCap is very intuitive:
Drag the red popup window and confirm its new location with the pushbutting inside the window.
If everything worked fine, the “Start” button and Settings will be disabled until you press the “Stop” streaming. The stream will show up in the Project List after ~10 seconds delay.

Actually the “Z” was originally intended as alternate glyph for the version number two - promoted by kfish of xiph.net for his oggZtools. However the reference to “see” works even better for a screen-capture tool…
